Self Care of Diabetes Inventory – Caregiver Contribution
The Self-care of Diabetes Inventory (SCODI or “Scotty”) was developed by a team in Italy based on the Self-care of Chronic Illness theory. The Caregiver versions of the self-care measures were developed by Ercole Vellone, PhD, RN, FESC of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy. The caregiver contributions to the self-care of diabetes can be measured with the CC-SCODI. Use of the patient and the caregiver versions together facilitates dyadic analyses.
